Taiwan Stamps : 1971, TW C138 Scott1734, 1736, 1737 60th National Day - MNH, F-VF : The Republic of China was formally established on January 1, 1912. As its founder, Dr. Sun is honored as the Father of the Republic of China. Following him, President Chiang Kai-shek has continued the work of Dr. Sun and has built a prosperous and democratic nation guided by the Three Principles of the People. October 10, 1971 marked the 60th National Day of this country. A set of stamps was issued to commemorate the occasion.
