Shaolin Dahong Boxing (WMF3)

Shaolin Dahong Boxing is developed on the basis of Xiaohong Boxing. Just as its name indicates, the former has bigger frame, more complicated footwork, more advanced techniques than the latter. It has compact frame, distinctive strategy of attack and defense, explosive force, varied movements of palms, solid and felxible footwork, imposing posture and practical techniques of combat. Emperor Zhao Kuangyin, founder of Song dynasty, reveled in this boxing and kept practicing it. And it caters to the majority of youths. Those pursuing Shaolin fist exercise, weaponed exercise and free sparring all unexceptionally start from Dahong boxing exercise, as it’s the rudiment of Shaolin kungfu and the source of any other wushu exercises.
