Chen-style Taiji Sanshou - Chen-style Taijiquan : ( 2DVDs, Chinese/English subtitles, 109minutes) Sanshou, based on the change of Chen-style steps and additional ways of sending off energy, shows you the slow and fast springing and shaking to you to understand truly the values of a combined softness and forcefulness of Chen-style Taijiquan. The demands of Taiji Sanshou: adherence to fist theory, master lecturing, relaxed stances, waist-axsis, sinking qi to dantian, lowering to spring, moving around the whole body, and a coordination of slowness and fastness.

Taiji Sanshou
Teaches a 42-part set of self-defense movements (such as elbow strikes) compiled by Chen Zhao Kui in 1972 when Zhou Tian Cai was an apprentice. To think that not so long ago these skill had to be learned little-by-little in large groups over many years; and that today we have the opportunity to study them relatively quickly, by ourselves, through these dvds! And from the best teacher! English and Chinese words with spoken Mandarin.
